Free Trolley Service to the Porterville Airport
Saturday service to the Porterville Fly-In will begin at the Transit Center at 7:00 a.m. -- only trolley service will
begin at 7:00 a.m. Regular Saturday transit service will not begin until 9:00 a.m.
The trolley will travel to the Porterville Best Western Inn and the Holiday Inn Express to pick up anyone needing to be transported to the Porterville Airport. The trolley will then proceed to the Porterville Airport and drop off any passengers. Any passengers at the Airport needing to return to the hotels or the Transit Center could then board the trolley. The trolley will then travel back to the hotels before returning to the Transit Center to begin the run all over again.
PLEASE NOTE THAT PASSENGERS STAYING AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS WILL NEED TO BE WAITING AT THE ROADWAY, ADJACENT TO THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS SIGN, IN ORDER FOR THE TROLLEY DRIVER TO KNOW THEY ARE WAITING FOR AIRPORT SERVICE. PASSENGERS STAYING AT THE PORTERVILLE BEST WESTERN INN NEED TO WAIT AT THE BENCH ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE PORTERVILLE BEST WESTERN IN ORDER TO HAVE TROLLEY SERVICE.
The trolley will leave the Transit Center every hour on the hour beginning at 7:00 a.m. with the shuttle service operating until 3:00 p.m.
